How would you like your space to feel? Quick tip: ;what style clothes do you prefer to wear? Loose non tight, relaxed pieces or do you prefer tailored pieces? Do you go for particular colours or patterns? Now think of a few key words that define how you may want your home or particular space to feel.
Inviting?, romantic?, formal?, traditional?, modern?, fun?, elegant?
Try and remember some looks, styles or furniture pieces that caught your eye in a hotel, restaurant, bar or a particular art piece, take note of these inspirations. Ask yourself why and how they inspired you.

Quite often its easier for you to work out what you dint like. Adding dislikes will help you eliminate some things and narrow in on others. These reactions are personal and individual, but also help define your tastes in style.
