All properties are different and have their own positives and negatives. Dramatic changes can be costly but don’t always need to be. Quick remedy can be a simple coat of paint, but choosing the correct colour for your home and space can works wounders.

How do I choose a paint colour for a small room or space?
Use light colours, paint walls white, cream, pastels or choose from a pallet of cool colours. Doing this draws the eye to the ceiling giving you the sense that you are in a larger space.
Using a paint with a slight hint of sheen will reflect light and broaden the space.
Furniture tip: choose furniture in similar shades and colours, less contrast provides the appearance of more space.
How do I choose a paint colour for a large room or space?
Darker tones absorb light, paint in a flat finish can make tall ceilings and huge rooms appear less spacious.
Using dark hues or warmer colours draw the eye in, try using a colour that may have a red base for a cosier feel.

Also try sample pot of your chosen paint colour on your wall.
Try one coat, 2 coast, 3 coast compare.
Try the sample on each wall in the same room.
Test on a large area to get a better sense of the look and feel.
Look at your pant sample on the wall in different light, on different days of sunny and cloudy, light can play tricks on the eye!
